Web Strategy and Support
The NIU website shapes many people’s impressions of the university. The web team strives to provide an accurate, engaging online presence for NIU.
By ensuring site visitors have a positive experience, we build trust with them and promote continued interaction with the university. Our efforts also extend the reach of the knowledge and artistry generated at NIU, and we’re proud to amplify fellow Huskies’ efforts.
We work with colleagues across campus who help update the websites in their areas. These department web contacts have different roles: coordinator, contributor or manager.
As of July 1, 2024, the web team will no longer remediate and/or upload inaccessible PDFs to NIU websites (exceptions may apply). The web team will also no longer create, manage or host forms in Formsite.
